An abstract piece that evokes a sense of depth and movement. The dominant blues, ranging from deep indigo to soft sky blue, project a vast, mysterious atmosphere. The darker shades represent the unknown challenges faced, while the lighter blues hint at hope and tranquility. These blues swirl and blend, as hope and challenge can so unexpectedly spring from each other. The strategic use of gold adds a striking contrast. These gold lines, often appearing like veins or cracks, could symbolize pathways, enlightenment, or the preciousness of moments within the larger flow of life. They break up the vastness of the blues, attracting the eye and suggesting a hidden structure or narrative within the apparent chaos. The sheer scale and intensity of the colours command attention, yet the soft blending and organic forms create a sense of calm introspection. Step-by-Step Process
Your journey begins with a colour consultation with Artist Joyce, combining colour theory, colour psychology and current trends with your vision and your existing décor. It’s about more than what’s on the surface; it’s about how it makes you feel.
You will have the opportunity to discuss your vision, share your thoughts and ideas as well as showcase where you would like the painting to be displayed in your space. The location and wall measurements will ensure the right canvas size is selected to complement the area. You can also share inspiration photos you have either taken yourself or found online as a visual aide of your vision.
Based on your ideas, Joyce will select the best medium, oil or acrylic, to bring your vision to life. We will then send you an estimate based on the size, medium and technique required for your commissioned piece.
Behind the scenes, she will begin sketching out your ideas, mixing and testing colours before transferring on to the canvas. Combining your vision and her talent to create a breathtaking result that, most importantly, is entirely unique to you.
You have the option to add an epoxy resin finish to your piece which would enhance the colours and give the final product a glossy and clean look. Lastly, you will decide on how to frame your finished piece and install it.
What you see in the finished product is a reflection of your thoughts, your feelings and your unique perspective, because every piece tells a story, and in this case YOURS.
